The Space Coast Healthcare Network develops mutually successful relationships with managed care organizations and health plans and looks to adding new plans whenever possible. The Space Coast Health Network negotiates fair, balanced, and competitive contracts with health plan providers.
In 2022, the federal government passed the No Surprises Act. As a result, insurance companies are required to disclose their contractual relationships with providers throughout the United States. SCHN has purchased this data for providers in our state. As a result of the leverage of our network and access to this data, SCHN has been able to contract with commercial and Medicare Advantage carriers at rates that are significantly higher than rates that are available to independent physicians and those in small group practices.
The Space Coast Healthcare Network wants to make the lives of physicians and practice administrators as simple as possible.
