The Space Coast Healthcare Network, a non-profit provider network of high performing quality providers in Brevard County. In addition, the Space Coast Healthcare Network is an exclusive network of primary care physicians, specialists and ancillary providers that have made a commitment to quality and excellence for their patients and payer base alike. As an independent physician association (IPA), Space Coast Healthcare Network contracts with specialists in the area to coordinate care and produce long standing relationships within the medical community. It is this coordinated approach to Medicare Advantage and Medicare members that allows Space Coast Healthcare Network physicians to provide the best care to its membership while delivering cost effective care to its payer base. While many other physician organizations have come and gone over the years, the Space Coast Healthcare Network continues to grow and clearly demonstrate its positive relationships with healthcare organizations, health insurance plans and the managed care community.
The Space Coast Health Network is the most comprehensive independent physician network in Brevard County. The Space Coast Health Network has worked diligently to provide its physician network with some of the most lucrative contracts in the County. While working to contract a cost effective high performing PCP network Space Coast has managed to gain the favor of managed health plans such as United, Cigna, Florida Blue, Aetna and FHCP. The additional collaboration and contracting of specialists has provided the opportunity to share and exchange clinical data between the Space Coast Healthcare Network and our contracted health plans. This provides Space Coast the opportunity to identify high-risk patients, clinical trends and patterns which are critical to cost effectiveness and the continuation of better patient care in the future.
